An original offset lithograph cover of the December 1, 1967 edition of Life magazine. This cover was designed by well-listed American pop artist Milton Glaser (1929 – ), and is titled Return of the Red Man. The magazine had two long stories included in a section titled Rediscovery of the Redman, which discussed the rise in popularity and awareness of American Indian customs and culture in mainstream American culture. The cover is matted in yellow and presented without framing. It is currently housed in a thin acetate sleeve.
