An unframed original abstract mixed media acrylic, oil stick and charcoal work on gessoed Strathmore paper titled Gray Stripe Black Squiggle by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, 1957- ), circa 2010. The image depicts an energetic, non-objective composition of arbitrary shapes and colors, aggressively intertwined and layered with black scrawled marks. Artist signature is signed to the lower left. This piece is not framed. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati.
