An original abstract acrylic on canvas painting with collaged patches of canvas by contemporary American artist Robbie Kemper (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1957 -), titled Pink and Orange, circa 2010. The image depicts an energetic, non-objective composition of saturated pink and orange patches of paint with black and violet paint aggressively intertwined, mixed, layered and splattered against a muted lavender backdrop. Artist signature is signed to the lower left. This piece is not framed. Kemper studied art at the University of Cincinnati College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning, and is currently a studio resident at the Pendleton Art Center in the historic district of Over-the-Rhine, Cincinnati, Ohio.
