Vintage Turkish Hand Woven Area Rug
Item Details
A vintage hand woven area rug from Turkey. It features three memling guls to the center in an intriguing color scheme using yellow-green, lime green, sky blue, and turmeric yellow. The field also features flanking diamond-shaped guls, eight-pointed stars, and more. The rug has a large main border, in off-white, boasting repeated Ashik Erasi guls, which is flanked by two guard borders in the Laleh Abbasi or Dog Tooth pattern. The rug finishes with barber pole secured sides and wool fringes. There is an affixed label to the underside. Abrashed throughout.
