Pair of Antique Food Slicers
Item Details
A pair of antique food slicers. (The pair are believed to be used for slicing cabbage, for making sauerkraut.) One tool (square) is marked ‘Rosenmeyers – Ideal – Ges.Geschutuztz’, with black cast metal gears, a wood handle, a steel wheel-slicer, and a hardwood frame. The tool does not come with operating instructions and was not tested.
A long mandolin-like tool is made of wood, with a square (separate) wood frame part, with lapped corners and steel, diagonal blades (not marked).
