An antique Beebe check protector machine. This metal machine features a face and dial with various numbers and symbols around the edge, and a handle to impress the given figure onto a check. The metal case is covered with a marbled pattern, and gold tone designs on the top corners, and on each side. There is a metal placard bolted to the front reading ‘Beebe Indelible Check Protector Co.’, and a large sticker covering nearly the entire underside with instructions for using the machine.
