Item Details
An original gouache on paper by artist John L. Eastman. Depicts the profile of a woman’s face with abstracted swirls and moons against a black background in shades of gold, peach, lavender, burgundy and olive with words from Revelation 6:12-13 written to the bottom. Signed and dated, December 18, 1970. Presented in a silver tone frame and double matted in cream linen and brown. John Luke Eastman is a contemporary south Californian artist known for his serigraphs and lithographs of women in combination with scriptures. - frame is slightly scratched. Shows some signs of water damage.
