Item Details

A vintage ‘Office of Civil Defense’ Survival Supplies. This Cold War collectible paraphernalia dates to 1963 and was made for bomb shelters in the case of nuclear war. The drum features a large cardboard cylinder exterior. On the drum is text which reads ‘Survival Supplies furnished by the Office of Civil Defense, Department of Defense, SK IV SANITATION KIT.’ and lists various contents including toilet tissue, a can opener, hand cleaner, sanitary napkins, and more. The drum is currently empty.
