"Spirit of '76" Collector's Medallion
Item Details
A Spirit of ’76 collector’s medallion. The medallion itself is a translation along the front of the Spirit of ’76 painting from 1875 and artist Archibald Willard, and the official crest of The United States of America along the back. Entire piece is a necklace with a gold finish, chain link chain and a screw clasp with the medallion set into a crossed frame of the same metal. Included in the presentation box is the original pamphlet, calling this part of a Limited Edition Collector’s Series and being full of contextual information for the piece. The medallion was struck and sold in 1976.
