German Pewter Teapot
Item Details
A German pewter teapot. This teapot features a bullet shaped finial atop a bell shaped lid which is hinged at the back. The elongated flange curves inward until it finally bows outwards and meets the low shoulders; the teapot has a round belly that eventually pinches to sit on the circular base. The handle features scrolled designs and a black plastic sleeve that covers most of the handle. This teapot is marked to the underside in German and English ‘Real Pewter’.
