An original oil on salvaged wood by American folk artist Mike Heavy Hefner (Northern Indiana, 21st-century), dated 2010 and signed in red to the lower center. The image depicts a venerable Southern gentleman standing in the intense heat of the sun, keeping his cool in a pale pink sleeveless jumpsuit and banded straw hat, hailing a peace sign with one hand and smoking a cigarette with the other. This piece is equipped with an eyehook hanger to the top edge.
