Pair of Ceramic Mortar and Pestles
Item Details
A pair of unmarked ceramic mortars and pestles. These implements are different sizes but share the same design: a white ceramic base ringed with two bands of gold tone paint, one near the rounded, thick lip and one near the base. The mouth of each mortar is wider than the base, and the smaller mortar includes two notches in the lip on which to rest the pestle; the pestles have a bulbous head and a slightly flared nob at the end of the handle.
