An original acrylic on canvas painting by well-regarded Cincinnati painter Roland Huston (1936 – 2005). In this stunning piece, a bouquet of long, spindly stems support soft white blossoms set in a brightly-painted interior space. Huston’s masterful use of color theory and the acrylic medium are highlighted in this piece. The painting is signed to the lower right. It is unframed, awaiting your choice of presentation. Huston was revered as both an academician and painter. He was a teacher from 1987 until 2005 and also famously studied under Paul Chidlaw at the Cincinnati Art Academy. The artist’s relationship with his teacher continued far beyond their years at the Art Academy, however. He passed away in 2005 at the age of 69 and is remembered by many as a beloved teacher, artist and friend.
