Petah Coyne Original Vintage Graphite Drawing "Megrim"

An original graphite drawing on paper by very well-listed contemporary American sculptor and photographer Petah Coyne (1953 -). The drawing is a proposal for a 1983 sculptural project titled Megrim, which the artist was trying to complete for New York’s ‘Art on the Beach’ series. The sculpture was never created. The drawing has measurements drawn into the image, and labels the surrounding areas of ‘water’ and ‘sand.’ The drawing is signed, addressed, titled, and explained as being a proposal in pencil to the lower right. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a wooden frame with mahogany stain and hooks for a hanging wire.
