Judith Shahn Original LE Serigraph "Interior with Green Leaves"

An original signed limited edition serigraph on pale gray printmaking paper by listed French-American artist Judith Shahn (1929 – 2009), titled Interior with Green Leaves. As the title suggests, the print depicts an interior room; a large patterned rug covers the floor, a large plant sits on a small wooden table, and a stunning coastline can be seen out an open window. Typical of Shahn’s body of work, the stylized scene is pictured in matte, solid patches of color. The print is signed and numbered 33/100 in pencil to the lower margin. It is matted in white and presented behind glass in a contemporary wooden frame with hooks for a hanging wire. A small tag with the piece’s title and artist’s name is attached to the verso.
