An original acrylic painting by listed artist Jovan Obican (1918-1986) of two musicians. Shown on a deep, black background are two whimsical musicians, one playing a fife while the other plays the accordion. Both figures are dressed in brightly colored, eclectic garb, and are wearing red and orange fezzes. Signed in paint to lower right, this work is mounted beneath two layers of matting, the innermost is yellow and the topmost layer is white with exposed orange interior, creating a thin border between the layers. Presented behind glass in a gold tone frame with hanging wire present to verso.
