Charley Harper Signed Limited Edition Serigraph "Romance on the Richter Scale"

An unframed signed limited edition serigraph print titled Romance on the Richter Scale by well-listed and renowned American artist and wildlife conservationist Charley Harper (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1922 – 2007), issued in 1981. The image depicts a graphic and wonderfully symmetrical depiction of two humpback whales embracing as they leap out of the sea beneath an orange sun. Numbered 760 in an edition of 1500 and pencil-signed by Harper to the lower margin. This print is presented in original folio from Frame House Gallery in Louisville, Kentucky, rolled tightly in a cylindrical tube.

Condition

- folio, glassine, and print have all been stored tightly rolled in a cylindrical cardboard tube, causing significant curl. With proper matting and framing, the print could likely be flattened. Print has light scratches in the ink in a few areas.
