Yasufumi Chuma Original Mixed Media Monotype '"Memorandum"<Biscuit.II>'

An original 1977 monotype from a series of silkscreen, offset lithograph and photocopy on paper prints titled Memorandum by listed Japanese artist Yasufumi Chuma, titled ‘Memorandum’. The minimalist print depicts simply sketched biscuits, photographic images of biscuits, and simple geometric forms scattered across a mostly blank page. The print is signed, dated, titled, and labeled ‘one print’ in pencil to the lower margin. The print is mounted on white and presented behind acrylic glass in a wooden frame with mahogany stain. Hooks for a hanging wire are attached to the verso, along with a small tag giving the artist’s name and piece’s title.
