Charley Harper Signed Limited Edition Serigraph "Foxsimiles"

A signed and numbered serigraph by well-listed and renowned American artist and wildlife conservationist, Charley Harper (Cincinnati, Ohio, 1922 – 2007), titled, Foxsimiles, issued in 1981. The image depicts a host of fox faces arranged in a circular pattern against a green backdrop with blue flowers, simulating a fox family peeking out of their den. Numbered in pencil 618 in an edition of 1500 and signed by Harper in pencil to the bottom margin. The print is professionally matted in white, set behind glass, in a decorative wood frame with cast moulding and stamped floral motif to the corners. Original label from Frame House Gallery in Louisville, Kentucky, is attached to the verso, along with additional information about the artist.
