A Royal Doulton The Lawyer ceramic mug. The underside reads ‘Royal Doulton, Made in England, The Lawyer, D6498, Copr 1958, Doulton & CO Limited, Rd No 889569, Rd No 38225, Rd No. 8035, Rd No 424/58’. The mug depicts a man with a smug look and one eye brow raised. He’s wearing a powdered wig and the handle is a feather. It has a high gloss glaze and has flesh tones, white, green and black colors. The reverse reads ‘The Lawyer’.
