Antique Embroidered Sampler
Item Details
An antique embroidered sampler. The sampler was created by Bettsy Wood and dates to 1808. The cross stitched design includes the alphabet, numbers, and folk art motifs including flora and fauna and assorted borders. The cream linen is stitched in a palette of navy, blue and tans. The piece is presented under glass in a faux burl finished frame. It has a wire to the back for hanging.
