Italian Porcelain Lidded Dish
Item Details
An Italian porcelain lidded dish with an embossed Italian themed mural. This Jasper ware piece is the traditional mint green and white. The underside is marked ‘Italy’ and has an artist’s mark. Around the matte finished bowl is a mural representative of Roman culture and art embossed and painted white. The bowl itself is goblet shaped with a rim around the top. The pedestal foot is round and has Roman-esque scrolling around the base. The upper ring of the bowl has the same scrolling. The lid is round and sits neatly inside the upper ring of the bowl. It has a knob handle and the same Roman style scrolling, matching the rest ofthe piece.
