A trio of Danbury Mint Shirley Temple dolls. The dolls include Flower Girl, Little Miss Shirley and Shirley Takes Five. The porcelain bisque dolls are hand-painted and have the iconic head full of curls. Flower Girl, sculpted by Elke Hutchens, is wearing an off-white organza dress, holds a basket of flowers, and is presented on a stand. Hutchens also sculpted Little Miss Shirley. This doll is wearing a pink baby doll dress and knickers and is posed in a seated position with one leg bent. Shirley Takes Five, sculpted by Joanne Singer, is wearing a pink gingham dress with a pink short sleeved jacket and sitting in a director’s chair with ‘Shirley Temple’ printed on the back of the chair. All dolls have the Danbury Mint mark and artist’s signature to the verso.
