Antique Seth Thomas Mantel Clock

Item Details

An antique mantel clock from Seth Thomas. This clock features a round, gold tone face, an Arabic numeral dial with numbers applied to the face in relief, a pierced metal hour and minute hand, minute ticks around the edge, and three key holes for winding along the bottom portion. A metal frame which is missing its glass cover swings outward to provide access to the key slots, and the back of the black wooden body casing also features a swinging door, which provides access to the brass mechanics inside; an etched message on the inside reads ‘Seth Thomas; Thomaston, Conn 113’.
