A variety of children’s vintage clothing. Included in the collection are a variety of dresses and jackets for girls, ranging from toddler to elementary school-age. There is a royal blue smocked dress with a collar edged in white lace, with attached sash, and turned up cuffs to the short sleeves, which buttons up the back. A lavender taffeta dress has embroidered shoulder straps, a ruffled neckline, gathered waist, and attached sash. A vintage, circa 1950s-60s button-up, long-sleeve blouse is printed with cheerful trains and cabooses in colors of lime green, turquoise, pink and black. A sweet, mauve blouse has puffed short sleeves with ruffled edges and ruffled button-up placket and collar. A Western style long-sleeve shirt is made of blue cotton, or cotton blend fabric, with white satin-stitched pockets, shoulders and cuffs. There is a 1940s style, light blue and white printed sleeveless top with white fabric covered buttons up the front, lace around the armholes, and a matching self-tie sash. A bright yellow dress is printed with cheerful pink flowers, and has bright pink ribbon trim, with ruffles at the sleeves, and a self-tie belt or sash. There is a lovely party dress in purple, white and black plaid, with a mauve taffeta inset at the chest and neck, with short, puffed sleeves, ruffles along the bottom and hem, a self-tie matching sash, and buttons up the back. A breezy summer dress is made of light cotton voile with blue polka dots, ruffled short sleeves, and a self-tie belt or sash. Also included is a vintage blue wool double-breasted coat with a rounded collar trimmed in white embroidery. A yellow cotton dress has double ruffled short sleeves and is trimmed with embroidered ribbon along the front and hem, with a self-tie yellow sash.
Condition
Vintage, used condition; some items show stains; blue coat shows holes and discoloration; other wear consistent with vintage age and use. All would benefit from cleaning, pressing or steaming.
