An American Silver Co. serving set. The American Silver Co. (estab. 1901, Bristol and Waterburt, CT) was a successor of Holmes & Tuttle Mfg. Co. and was acquired by the amalgamated International Silver Company in 1935. This silver plated set, in its original box, includes a large scalloped serving spoon, and six three-pronged forks. All are in the same pattern, with a fiddle handle with a scrolling rim and a tulip flowers, stamped with the American Silver Co. makers mark of a globe with a trio of flatware underneath.
