Early 20th Century Wallace Sterling Silver Vanity Set
Item Details
An early 20th century sterling silver vanity set manufactured by R. Wallace & Sons Mfg. Co. The set includes a hand brush, a comb with plastic teeth, a nail file, a shoe horn with a steel blade, and a beveled edge hand mirror. They feature matching designs consisting of scrolled acanthus leaves to the edge border, accenting leaves to the handles, and monogrammed ‘BMK’ in large, scrolled, elegant letters. The brush, mirror, and comb are marked with the Wallace hallmark, ‘Sterling’, and ‘90’. The comb is additionally marked ‘Lumarith’ to the teeth, and the nail file and shoe horn are marked ‘Sterling Handle’.
