Pablo Rigual Chalkware Bust "Cleopatre"

A chalkware bust titled Cleopatre after Pablo Rigual (Spanish, 1863 – 1917). As an Art Nouveau representation of the Egyptian queen Cleopatra, this piece depicts a crowned lady, gazing to her left, with a snake slivering up from below. Titled Cleopatre to the plinth and marked by Rigual’s signature to the back.

Vintage condition; possible crack to the headpiece; chips and wear to the finish
