Item Details
An oil on canvas work depicting a man on horseback. The work is done in a dark tonal style with shadowy figures. A male figure on horseback raises an object in his right hand, a dog faces the viewer. The item is marked on the back, ‘Original in the Museum of the Brooklyn Institute of Arts & Science’. The piece is presented in a frame with with hanging wire on the verso.

- water stain to the verso upper left, moderate crazing throughout the piece, and slight wear to the frame.
