1870s Renaissance Revival Walnut Dresser

Item Details

An antique Renaissance Revival walnut dresser and mirror, 1870s. This dresser features two small drawers on the top of the dresser and three larger drawers below. The drawers are hand cut dovetails, contain wooden knobs, and have a lock (but keys are missing). Stands on bracket feet. To the top of the dresser is an oval mirror that can be tilted forward and backwards. This item is original to the Howard House of Moody, Texas. The home was originally built by Charles Howard, a resident of Moody when the town was founded in 1881.
