Silver on Copper Tip Teapot Burner Stand
Item Details
A silver on copper Tip teapot and burner stand. This elegant teapot is made from copper covered in silver, and features a scrolled, acanthus leaf style handle, and a finial that looks like a berry bunch. The teapot also has a pair of nobs on either side of the body which fits perfectly on the burner stand; the burner stand features wing shaped designs on the stand legs, and an adjustable dial projecting from the burner nozzle. Etched to the underside is ‘Silver on Copper’, and markings that indicate this piece was produced by the Birmingham Silver Company.
