Antique Chinese Carved Wall Plaque

Item Details

A Chinese carved wall plaque. The square three dimensional carving depicts a man on a bridge handing a baby to another man, a third man behind him carries a large paddle. The wood carving has been painted red with gold toned details. The backside of the carving is natural wood, stamped with a Chinese symbol, with a label in English which reads ‘Temple Carving/ PRC Ching Dynasty’ affixed to the lower left corner.

- gold paint has worn off in places, chipped bottom right corner
