A signed original gouache painting by listed Indiana artist William Eyden Jr. Captured in this vibrant landscape painting is an image of the Teton Mountains and Leigh Lake in Wyoming. Signed by the artist to the lower left, the painting is displayed in a wooden frame with hanging hardware to the verso. A note attached to the verso reads ‘Written on the back of the picture: ’The Teton Mountains, Grand Teton Center, Wyoming’ ‘Nature Rookery, Leigh Lake and Tetons’. Born in Richmond, Indiana, Eyden studied art under his father, the artist Walter Eyden Sr., and was known for his landscape and cityscape paintings.
