A unique, dimensional mixed media painting with a wood construction titled, People Eating Thing 1990 by artist, Ralph Scharf. This abstract piece of artwork features three different rectangular slots in the front of a large block of wood with other graphics carved into each cubby hole, including a race car on the top, three figures in the center, and a place setting on the bottom with a plate, napkin, and fork. This piece is hand painted with a broad, colorful palette on the inside, which is comprised of blue, purple, green, yellow, pink, orange, and red hues, with a metallic silver paint on the exterior that features orange, purple, and white stripes. The painting is marked with the title, date, and artist name to the verso.
