Early 20th Century French Carved Oak Buffet

Item Details

A carved oak French Continental buffet, circa early 20th century. The top has two cabinet doors that reveal an open storage space, and the bottom has two drawers, one sectioned, with another cabinet section with open storage. The four cabinet doors have a center design of acorns at the top of a fanned and urn shaped pedestal with curled leaves surrounding it, set in vertically oriented rectangular framing. The pediment and drawers have an accenting pattern of repeated scooped sweeps, and the pediment and base have waterfalled accent molding. The cabinet sections each have turned stiles at the edges for accent. It has brass toned hardware.

The top and bottom sections come apart.

Dimensions

Measurement to the top of the base is 38". The two main sections separate for moving.
