Item Details
A Chinese double gourd vase with base. This vase features a white background with plum blossoms rendered in blue glaze. The vessel is in the shape of a double gourd (葫芦 hulu), a symbol of prosperity and fertility thanks to its many seeds. It features a lattice design in the lower third. There are bands of leiwen clouds around the vase. It is presented on a carved black wood base.
