Item Details

A vintage painted four panel screen in oil on canvas, illustrating a European landscape with red tiled roof buildings, formal gardens and folks strolling in period dress. A painted balustrade across the bottom of each screen is the common thread. Each panel (the panels are hinged two and two), is mounted in a thin gold and black wood frame. The distressed condition lends to the charm of the screen which was most likely created for a theatre production.

Condition

Some water damage and several small punctures.
