Antique Ornate Wood Coal Scuttle

Item Details

This beautifully decorated antique wooden coal scuttle, or bin, includes a removable metal liner and a wood handled metal scoop which is held by a metal bar affixed to the back of piece. Wonderful brass scroll fittings are screwed into the wood.

Condition

Suface nicks on exterior wood surface. Veneer lining on the inside is bubbled and cracked, consistent with age. Some tarnish to metal fittings.
