Vintage Print after a Peter van Hess Painting
Item Details
A countryside print on board after a painting by Peter von Hess (1792 – 1871). The work depicts a painting titled Chiemseelandschaft in Rimsting (1813) of a quaint country scene with figures and animals in the landscape. The print is marked F © H 1940 on bottom in type and is otherwise unmarked. The painting is on board and is housed within a rectangular gilt frame.
