A machine-made Bakhtiari-style wool rug. It features a paneled center field in burgundy, gold, moss green and ecru, with varying floral and foliate patterns. It has a wide principal borders with flower box-style geometric guls in harmonious colors. The rug is banded with the same rich burgundy and has an applied, sewn wheat-colored fringe to either end.
