A brass sculpture of birds by Curtis Jere. This brass sculpture depicts a flock of birds in flight, each one connected to at least one other, tightly gathered in the center and spreading outward. Signed C. Jere to a wing. ‘Curtis Jere’ is the ghost artist comprised of Curtis ‘Kurt’ Freiler (1910- 2013) and Jerry Fels (1917- 2007/8), who owned and operated Artisan House, founded 1964, to produce gallery quality artwork for the public.
