An original oil painting on canvas by famed Cincinnati and Rookwood Pottery artist, Edward Timothy Hurley (1869 – 1950). The piece depicts a wooded landscape with a family hiking along a creek bed in natural tones. Signed ‘E.T. Hurley’ and dated 1911 to the lower right corner. The painting is presented in an open gold toned frame with foliate appliqué and beaded details.
