An early 20th century C.H. Field Haviland Limoges floral and gilt porcelain china set. This large, elegant tea set features 167 pieces of porcelain china, all marked ‘Limoges’ as well as ‘G.D.A France’ (Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbott) which is the mark c-5 identifier of GDA’s patterns from the early 1900s. The dishes all feature ornate gilt work, embellished by scalloped edging and decorated in soft pink flowers. The set includes one large sugar bowl with lid, one creamer, one tea pot, nineteen tea cups, twenty-three saucers, one lidded casserole dish, two large platters, one oval vegetable plate, one large oval platter, one small oval platter, two additional platters, one gravy boat, three squared serving dishes ,thirty-three bowls, two large serving bowls, twenty-four dinner plates, twenty-five bread and butter plates, twenty four salad plates, one serving dish without lid, and one round shallow dish.
