A framed lithograph by renowned wildlife artist Basil Ede. Blue Jays in Winter is a stunning print of two blue jays perched among snow laden tree branches along the side of a snowy river. The blue shades of the birds is rich and vibrant and meticulous attention to detail is apparent from the fully articulated feathers of the birds right down to the delicate trail of their footprints in the soft snow. Signed in plate to the lower right and dated 1968. The print is surrounded by a blue mat and molded blue frame. Papered to the back with rings for hanging.
