Vintage Effanbee Patsy Composition Doll

Item Details

A vintage Patsy composition doll. The doll has brown hair painted on and wears a green jumper over a white blouse with lace trim. There is some cracking to the face damage to the finish on the legs and feet. It is marked to the back EFFanBEE Patsy Pat Pend. The Patsy doll was created by Effanbee in 1928; it was the first fashion doll of the modern era, with individual outfits being sold separately to fit the doll.

Fair vintage condition- facial cracks, one finger damaged, wear on feet; head seems loosely attached
