A print of a watercolor of Menemsha Harbor on Martha’s Vineyard. Limited edition 2/300 signed by the artist, Billy Morrow Jackson. Billy Morrow Jackson (1926-2006), a renowned artist, and muralist, whose work is displayed in galleries around the world. After retiring from the University of Illinois as a professor of art after more than 40 years, he reached professor emeritus status. He co-authored the book, On This Island, An Artist’s View of Martha’s Vineyard. His work can be seen in the National Gallery of Art, Smithsonian Institution, Library of Congress, NASA National Archives, and many other prominent galleries. His catalogue raisonné can be seen at the Jane Haslem Gallery, Washington D.C.
