Collection of Small Decorative Boxes

A collection of decorative small boxes. This collection includes twelve pieces most of them are of Japanese or oriental styles. They are also made of various materials. Fan-shaped box is porcelain and has Taiwan marks that indicated it was hand decorated in Macau. The small porcelain box with the blue and white flowers and birds on its lid has a Japanese mark with the word Kutani and Takahashi San Francisco on the bottom. The Japanese writing. The metal, gold-toned pot has the Tokyo National Museum mark on the bottom. The gold dust has the mark MMA 1989 mark on the bottom and comes with a small document inside from the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Condition
- metal on the white box with peaches on top is worn with small dents.
- minor stains on the inside of the white box with flowers painted on top.
- the black fan-shaped box with painted dragons on top has stains inside.
- the round blue metal box has rust inside.
- small black bowl has a hole in the middle.
