Knapper and Blackhurst Ironstone Cheese Dome

Item Details

An Ironstone Cheese Dome by Knapper and Blackhurst. The bell form top is a decorated with a molded design of Lilies of the Valley and Ferns. The stems of the ferns are accented with gold paint, and the dome is also covered with a rope pattern that is painted blue. The plate to the same is also decorated with the same motif of Lilies of the Vally and Ferns. On the bottom of the plate is an embossed stamp that reads ‘Edwards D.H,’.

Condition

There is a small chip at the bottom of the dome where is sit on the plate.
