Item Details
A hand-knotted American Sarouk carpet runner. The runner has a pale madder red field populated with vase forms and ornate floral sprays in rich indigo blue, ivory mocha and ecru, with pale blue, French rose and ruby. The runner has a compound border in complementary tones of blue and ivory, with indistinct carnation and floral motifs It has a very small kilim skirt and natural wool warp fringe to the ends. Illegibly tagged to the reverse.
