An contemporary machine-made Egyptian area rug from Oriental Weavers’ Gabbeh collection. It is made with polypropylene fiber, in shades of blue, coral, pale garnet red, burnt orange and tangerine, ivory, shades of green, pale blue and tan. The rug has been woven with intentional abrash to create a more antiqued appearance. It features a large central medallion surrounded by stylized palmettes, and an ornate principal border in complementary colors. It has an applied fringe to either end and is tagged to the reverse.
